Privacy Policy
Plain and simple: what I collect through the inquiry form, and what I do with it.
KLH Floral is my floral design studio in Dallas, Texas — I’m Karen Higginbotham. This page explains how I handle the information you share with me. It applies to this website and my inquiry form.
What I collect
When you send an inquiry, I collect the details you enter: your name, email, phone number, and any event details you choose to share (event date, event type, location, your vision, and how you heard about me). I only collect what you type into the form. I do not ask for or store payment information anywhere on this site.
How I use it
I use your information for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and, if we work together, to plan and design your flowers. Your form submission is delivered to me by email through my form provider, Formspree. I do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for marketing, and I do not send unsolicited email.
How long I keep it
Your inquiry is delivered to me by email and is also retained by my form provider, Formspree, under its own retention terms. I keep inquiry emails for as long as I need them to respond to you and provide my service. You can ask me to delete your information at any time (see below).
Third-party services
A few trusted services help this site run: Formspree delivers form submissions, and the site is hosted on Vercel. My gallery may also display recent public posts from my Instagram through a service called Behold once that feed is connected. When it is, your browser loads those images directly from Instagram, so Instagram and its parent company, Meta, may receive standard technical information (such as your IP address) needed to deliver them. These providers only process the information needed to do their job, under their own privacy terms. Like any website, my host (Vercel) may also automatically log standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and running.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this website. It tells us things like which pages people spend time on and roughly where in the country they are visiting from. We use this to keep improving the site.
Google Analytics places small files called cookies in your browser and collects your approximate location, the type of device and browser you are using, and the pages you view. It does not collect your name, address, or any information that identifies you personally.
This information is processed by Google. You can read how Google handles it in the Google Privacy Policy. If you would rather not be included, Google offers a browser opt-out add-on that blocks Analytics on every site you visit.
We keep this data for 14 months. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your choices
You can ask me to see the information you have shared, or to delete it, at any time. Just email me and I will take care of it.
